ICM 1:72 He 70F-2 German Recon Aircraft
Description
Heinkel He 70 became one of the first high-speed planes that were appeared in the beginning of 30s. He 70 was designed by Gunther brothers by the order of the Lufthansa Company for new passenger aircraft. It was a very clean shape monoplane with ellipticshaped wing and retractable chassis. The first prototype made his first flight December 1, 1932. In late autumn 1934 production of the armed version of the aircraft – Ðе 70F-2 reconnaissance plane has assumed. In 1936 all six reconnaissance groups of Luftwaffe included 9 Ðе 70F-2 plains. One-engine Heinkel was in service in Luftwaffe combat units for long time: in September, 19 1938 there were 73 planes (49 ready for combat) in reconnaissance groups. But next month all Ðе 70F were excluded of reconnaissance squadrons and were delivered to flight schools and communication units.
