History:

Because of how docile and gentle they are, whale sharks are a popular attraction for divers. In fact, some young whale sharks will even play with humans. However, some swimmers will try to “hitch a ride” by grabbing their fins. This is discouraged by experts and scientists, because it can cause unnecessary stress for the whale sharks. Don’t worry – with a little bit of imagination, you can safely catch a ride on our whale shark model instead!
