History
Any nature enthusiast lucky enough to spot this elusive creature in the wild couldn't help but be overtaken by how its iconic pelt perfectly juxtaposes a snowy field, a bright orange fall forest, or dense green woods. The Red Fox has a long history of interaction with humans, and was one of the most commonly hunted animals during the early days of the fur trade. Foxes are native to Europe, Asia, and North Africa. In North America, there are both native and non-native fox subspecies. In Europe, fox-hunting was a popular sport from the middle ages until now.
