History:

Saltwater crocodiles are actually much more intelligent than most people give them credit for. Not only do they communicate with one another and their offspring, but they are able to analyze patterns. For example, saltwater crocodiles sometimes spend a few days observing their prey, including when it sleeps, when it comes to the water to drink, and so on. They then use this information to determine the best time to attack.
